Numeracy Skills: Everyday Maths (Evenings)

This course is aimed at members that are interested in developing their self confidence when using figures and numbers in everyday settings.

The tutor will start off by finding out what you are good at and where you may need help.

There will then be a chance to look at tasks you have to do at work, and see how the course can help.

The course will cover:

• Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division; • Simple fractions, how to work with decimals (and money) and how to do simple percentages (%); • Using a calculator, a look at the metric system, and working time.

This evening courses runs on Tuesdays and lasts for 10 weeks (one evening per week for 10 weeks) 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm.
