UNISON has developed a branch online accounting system (OLBA). This course is aimed at new treasurers of live OLBA branches and provides practical guidance on using the branch online accounting system.
The training will cover:
• How to use OLBA • A Case Study • Entering your receipts and payments • Accounts and reports
Please note that priority for places on this course will go to newly elected treasurers or those that have not had formal training.
You must be able to use a computer to benefit from this course.
Please note in accordance with the rule change in Jan 2014 – all branches must use the OLBA System: Rule G.2.2.8 (Branches) shall from 1 January 2014 maintain records of its financial transactions, assets and liabilities using the national online branch accounting system Rule G.2.2.9 (Branches) shall from 1 January 2014 develop an appropriate annual budget as part of the joint branch assessment process in accordance with the Union’s objectives and priorities.
