This 5 day course (5 Thursdays) aims to provide new Union Learning Representatives with a details introduction to their role in promoting the intervention of the union to both broaden and deepen the opportunities for the education and training of members. It looks at the legal rights of ULRs, and their role in their branches to promote learning. It also looks at how to negotiate learning agreements and learning partnerships and includes sessions on how to access resources for learning and how to build learning networks.
